Registration Is now Open!

Applications and Audition videos are due by August 28th at 11:59pm

To register to audition for 9SCM's String Quartet Intensive, please submit your information and your non-refundable application fee using the form at the bottom of this page. Upon receipt of your application, you will receive an email confirming your 'Registered' status and including a link to submit audition videos.

We strongly encourage pre-formed groups to apply for our new program.

Individuals are also welcome to apply and will be filled into groups as space is available.

Audition Requirements

ALL applicants will perform:

a solo of their choosing that best represents their current playing abilities

Additionally,

Pre-formed ensembles will perform:

a movement from any quartet in the standard repertoire, recorded as a group. Please inquire with any questions about appropriate repertoire selections.

Individual applicants will perform:

an excerpt from Mendelssohn's String Quartet in E minor, 1st movement
