Join us for the final concert of our season, where we are thrilled to present one of the greatest chamber music pieces of all time - Schubert’s epic Cello Quintet in C Major! Our friend and colleague, cellist Ben Wensel of the U.S. Army ‘Pershing’s Own,’ is our featured guest artist!

About the Event
We are so honored to welcome a special guest to share the stage in their concert series finale at St. George’s Episcopal Church. Featuring our friend, cellist Benjamin Wensel, Schubert’s Cello Quintet in C Major is one of the most beloved pieces in the chamber music repertoire. The addition of the second cello creates an incredible depth of richness that is best experienced in live performance. We'll also perform the exuberant Visions and Miracles by Christopher Theofanidis.
Enhancing the celebration even further, 9SQ is thrilled to be joined by members of the local chapter of the Jane Austen Society of North America. A reception immediately following the concert will include a post-concert chat with members of 9SQ and JASNA.
9th Street Quartet’s concerts feature inventive programming that highlights the work of present-day composers alongside the richly vast traditional chamber music repertoire. Concerts are intended to feel informal, a place to come and enjoy beautiful music with insightful commentary.
Regular admission is $30, but we don't want ticket prices to be a barrier for anyone to attend our performances, so you may also choose the option to pay an amount that is comfortable for you. Conversely, if you love our mission and have the means to value our performance with a higher ticket contribution, your support is greatly appreciated.
Students are free! And, tickets always include a complimentary glass of wine for 21+ audience members. Also, if you can't join us in person, not to worry - livestream tickets are only $10.
